Based in Hertfordshire, Aquavida installs garden water solutions designed to maintain optimal soil moisture levels.

Operating primarily in London and the Home Counties, we have undertaken projects in many other parts of the UK as well as in France, Spain and Ireland.

We work with landscape architects, landscape contractors, property developers & main contractors, as well as homeowners.

End-to-end solutions for projects across the full spectrum of landscapes, be they large or small, we provide designs and installations that deliver lasting results. 

Our Story
«Aquavida is born from a lifelong passion for ‘all things of the land’.  Growing up on a farm in New Zealand, I was immersed in the rhythms of nature from an early age. My mother, an expert gardener, instilled in me a deep appreciation for the intricate relationship between plants and their environment—knowledge that has shaped my career ever since.»

Soon after, I founded Aqualibrium  to manage the delicate balance between soil, water, and plant health. Both ventures quickly earned a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. After years of success, I stepped away in the late 2000s to explore new business opportunities.»

The design of intelligent water management systems that enhance soil health, plant vitality, and the resilience of the wider landscape are at the core of Aquavida. With increasing climate unpredictability, maintaining a balanced soil-water relationship is more critical than ever.

Sustainable Irrigation

Water-efficient irrigation systems that minimize water consumption using best-in-class equipment for responsible water use. Where possible, we integrate water harvesting techniques to maximize sustainability. No single manufacturer has all the best solutions however Rainbird is our brand of choice. 

Drainage Solutions

Prevention of waterlogging, and the inevitable soil degradation caused, are critical to sustained soil and plant health.  Our solutions adhere to sustainable water management principles and comply with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) regulations to ensure water is managed effectively and responsibly. We provide detailed assessments and plans that can be implemented by us or installed by others.

From the very first visit all those years ago, we have only great things to say about our experience. Having put up with a garden that sometimes flooded in wet winters and nearly always struggled in summer, we have asked ourselves many times why we didn't find Alastair sooner! He and his team were polite, professional and very diligent, even when the elements were against them. It was difficult to see where all the pipework had been installed when the job was finished and they have maintained the system to keep everything tip top for many years.
